I didn't know about the ovation thing either. I have been on here less than 2 weeks and have had my hand slapped over it. I'm a good learner just a bit slow at times. Thanks for getting me on track.

HI there Janet! I am new too and also looking/ getting silkies. I got some great breeder references from the Silkies thread on this website. They are all over the country. I have reservations with breeders here in Florida and one in New York. Hoping to get some more from others too for diversity in blood lines eventually. Or you can order from a hatchery if looking for pet quality! They are so cute!

I would love any color. I saw one years ago and I would like two for my grandsons to be able to pet and feed when they come to visit.

Kids and chickens kinda go together.... My niece who is 4 just found out that we are getting chicks again, and wants to move in with Auntie and Uncle. Lol!
