The one you got is a cutie, but he/she will want company as chickens are flock animals. If others don't hatch, hope you can find a few more chicks so your one won't be lonely.

Yes I think I’ll wait a couple of days and then go get some siblings for this little one. I don’t even know what breed it is or the sex but we just wanted chickens more as pets than anything else, and I thought it would be good for my children to see them grow from an egg! At least they saw one but we would love to see more.

It’s such a massive failure rate. I’m wondering if the incubator is just some cheap Chinese brand Here is the little cutie

Can you take a photo of the incubator for us?
It is possible that the breeder uses a quality incubator, but loans out a cheap version.
