Hello all, this site has been a favorite for quite awhile. I just made a profile as we are having a goose issue....we have chickens and are incubating for the first time. Our geese are laying for the first time. It's hectic here
 
Welcome to Backyard Chickens. Have you discovered the goose threads at "Other Backyard Poultry" forum above? Hope your goose problem is a minor one.

Hi and Welcome. Are you using an incubator or is a broody doing the hatching? What kinds of chickens?
 
Our geese will sit on her eggs she currently has lain 4. Or at leaat inhope she does its her firat time..we have 30 eggs in an incubator...buff orphangton, and silkie. The kids wanted to try hatching. Last year was our first attempt at chickens..we raised 25 free range and they were for meat...it was a great experience.
