Hey, I’m in Central and South Texas. Two farms about 3 hours apart. I have chickens at both now that I hatched 16 chicks over the last 3 harrowing days! Thanks to a post here several chicks were saved. Even though I have had chickens all my life I learned things I had not known it that post.
I have Easter Eggers, Welsummer, Buff Orpington, Red Sexlink, D’Uccles, and a little Silkie rooster down south and Lavender Orpingtons, Barred Rock, Silver Laced Wyandotte and a Prairie Bluebell up north.
I currently have 28 chickens.
My acquaintances make fun of how much I talk about my chickens. My friends buy me lots of chicken stuff!!
