Good evening everyone, Mac here from York pa.
We’ve had chickens growing up my entire life. After being married and having 2 kids I figured it was time to start our own flock. We’ve had our birds about 2-1/2 years now. We have 6 hens, all cinnamon queens. It is fun seeing how my kids and our pets interact with our birds, and seeing the different personalities and roles each bird plays in the flock. I have 2 kids and a spouse, and 2 dogs a big dog and a mini dog. I enjoy growing my own food, doing lawn work and anything hands on I can do with my family. I weld for a living but also do lots of other trades work/remodeling for friends/family. We used byc growing up, and I decided to join because my wonderful township has decided to send me and multiple neighbors a letter about our poultry.
