Thank you for the welcome greetings and advice! I’m going to start with hardware cloth skirts as I already have some leftover but will look into the hot wire. As I am making chicken tractors I would have figure how to work around the wheel levers that are on each side and how to daisy chain the tractors together each time they are moved so they could run off one solar charger.

What type of predators are you trying to keep out with a hot wire? Maybe an electric type mesh would work better for you over using a wire?
