Easter Eggers are basically crossbreds which may carry the colored egg gene. Due to their genetic diversity egg production and onset of laying can vary greatly from bird to bird.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Most of my EEs have started laying at about 20-25 weeks over the years; a few a little earlier, an occasional one a little later. As sourland pointed out, their rate of lay will depend to some degree upon which brown egg layers were used in the crosses that produced them, but most of my EEs have typically laid about 4 (occasionally 5) eggs per week per hen. Please feel free to ask any other questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck with your flock.
