Hello, I had chickens growing up (I’m 34 today!) but I didn’t really get involved with them. I was a horse person. However, my son, who is 7 (in eight days) got chickens as a birthday gift last year. 16 of them! He was so jacked!

That starts out chicken journey. The birthday chickens are layers. In June we picked up three silkies and a turkey.

In August, for a belated birthday present to my son, we are picking up a couple more chickens to round out this year.

We have the chicken bug and appreciate these girls (and Johnny, the turkey) loads!
