Thank you for the reply and warning as to the predators, we lock them in there hut at sunset because thats when foxes come out after dark we thought.
 
Welcome to Backyard chickens  - very tidy set up for them BUT, have to caution you, it will not keep out any sort of predators.  They climb, jump, dig and foxes in particular will have a field day  and easy lunch.

Sorry to hear that, are they good layers more so than the brown ones ? Were expecting our first eggs in about 2 weeks, our chickens are about 19 weeks old.
 
Morning all. Just started a hibby farm,breeding quail fir the furst time. My temperature good snd humidity . In fortunately humidity dropping over night from 55 to 30. Any suggestions and will this effect the develpment of the hatching.
