Hi MaryJanet, I’m in Harden nsw have now rooster Featherfoot, Little Damsel,and Amber. sadly after much trying to save my sick little silkie Buttercup she passed away this morning in her seperate cage in the dining room. So upset, she was the smallest and my favourite. Tried everything for three days to save her, don’t know what was wrong.

So sorry to hear that. It's very hard to lose one.

I ended up on BYC because I lost one to ( I think) egg binding and I wanted to make sure it didn't happen again. There's so much that can go wrong it is wonderful to have this support group to draw on their knowledge and experience.

I agree,was very upset about little Buttercup, but she had a good life while here now buried in a special little garden.
