Hi I’m Tania. First time chicken owner and mama to 4 children and a dopey lab.

I’ve always wanted chickens but never had the space for them (or so I thought) after years of thinking about it and researching my husband finally bit the bullet for me and surprised me with a chicken coop for our anniversary. I purchased 6 chicks the next week.

I’m a second guesser even when my gut is stealing me in the right direction because I’m always trying to learn the most I can.

Our flock includes 2 olive eggers (chip and dale), 2 barred rocks (Oreo and Jam), a Rhode Island (duck), and one maran named Boots who we are starting to think is a roo.

Looking forward to learning from you all and for this new adventure.
