(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
We bought our first home in Dec, and it came with 3 hens!

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Right now, we have 4. One of the original 3 died in February (suspected old age), and we got two new ones on Sunday.

(3) What breeds do you have?
The two newest are Isa Browns, one of the og's is an Isa Brown, and the other og is either a NH red or an Isa Brown? Not really sure... tbh.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Seeing them kick around and being responsible for them!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Piano, video games, listening to music, and gardening.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My wife is a US Naval officer, we have two dogs (a Hava/Malt and a Cavapoo), and I'm a fullstack software developer!

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
One of my friends suggested the forum, as she's our "resident chicken expert". I've been on here a lot the past few days, and decided to finally join because I have questions to ask and concerns to share, lol.
