Hi Peeps! (pun intended). I've had chickens for nearly a year now. The first was "Winston", a beautiful Gold Laced Wyandotte
Roo, who just magically appeared in our drive last summer. After questioning neighbors as to whom he could belong to with no results, we decided to keep him. Which has snowballed into the 46 chickens I have currently. I have a diverse flock of Polish, Silkies, Salmon Favorelles, Black Copper Marans, Americaunas, Cochins, Buff Orpingtons, Frizzles and a few other singles. I love going to the coop in the morning and just hanging out with the girls. Many jump onto my lap and shoulders and "talk" to me. Sometimes there's no room for another! The love we share is incredible.
In addition to chicken keeping, I love gardening. This year will be exciting , as I will be growing melons and other veggies specifically for my girls (and boys). I also enjoy Ceramics.
Hi there from UK

All I can boast about on the gardening front is I've planted mint and thyme. 8 really must do more :D

Welcome to our flock and :welcome
