Well, Elsa didn't make it, she died. So now we are trying to upgrade our coop so we can separate the different breeds. We're starting with a quarantine area and then we'll add a larger section for just the silkies.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. Somehow I missed getting in on this thread earlier but I'm sorry that Elsa died. Your coop looks really nice and you have a beautiful daughter. Raising chickens is a great experience for children. My granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loves our chickens. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have.
