Hello!
I'm a new quail keeper this year. I'm raising them for meat and eggs. I bought jumbo coturnix quail eggs from ebay and ended up with thirty healthy birds out of the fifty eggs I was sent.
They are nearly four weeks old now and out in a hutch! Before this I'd never seen a living quail in person and I'm surprised and delighted to find how many endearing behaviors they have. They also are unbelievably dirty animals. But that's all right
I'm up in 5b temperature wise. I'm new at keeping poultry so tips are appreciated!
