New quail owner

I just got 3 Button quail. I can't wait for them to start lying eggs. Here are my questions. I have them in a 50 gallon aquarium. They run back and forth like they are trying to escape. I have a black back ground on it and a small 3 side box for them. Is this behavior normal for quail? What should I put in the aquarium to make them less nervous? Some sticks or make more hiding spots? Any advice would be great

I would add some hiding areas, fake plastic plants, I use small flower pots hidden by fake plants. Quail are a nervous bird anyways and in a new enviroment they will be more so. They will run like that when stressed or someone is close. They will usually settle a little but that is pretty much their nature and how to react to stress.
