I have spent my childhood with pet chickens. Now that I don't have a grinding job I decided to go back to raising chickens. I asked my hubby to build a smal coop. He built one that is 16 X 8. So with the extra large coop I decided to get extra large birds! I ordered 15 (because I had to) White Jersey Giants. I got 16 and all have lived and are doing well. I am keeping 6 of them and the others are going to friends that will give them good homes (Including a Grandson that will use it for 4H). I just put 7 Serama eggs into my incubator with hopes that I will have some of them in a few weeks!
