I have 3 lavender orpington hens, 3 sapphire gem hens, 4 red sex link hens, 1 frizzle lavender orpington hen, 1 black silkie hen, 3 splash americana hens, 1 lavender orpington roo.

Recently just added 10 silkie chicks. 2 blue satin frizzles, 1 blue, 7 chocolates. I also added 4 chocolate cuckoo orpington chicks! Egg-cited to see them grow!

Currently have EE, OE, and Black copper maran eggs in the incubator!

Thank you!! I’m always googling something anout poultry and seem to always find the answer on this forum so I decided to create an account so I can interact too. I got into chickens because I absolutely love them but don’t have any family or friends who even own chickens so a lot of the time I’m having to do my own research if I have questions. I’m basically a newbie with chickens but we all have to start somewhere! 😁 (im still trying to figure this website out, im use to Facebook and this is quiet different)

Congratulations on joining! You now a member of a community of experienced, friendly folks who LOVE to hear about any and all things regarding chickens. It can be a bit lonely when you have no one else to "talk chicken" with -- I notice a lot of eye rolls from chicken-less friends when I start bragging about my poultry or talking about the finer points of coop construction.

Your birds are beautiful, and the colors of the eggs in the incubator are gorgeous. Best wishes with your hatch, and welcome to BYC!
