Welcome from Indiana i am so glad to hear the sick hen is improving :) We are new to this forum also and have gotten a ton of advise from really knowledgable people it's a great place for sharing not only the love of birds but getting solid answers when you have a question.
 
It really is a great place for advice. Thank you too you all and I will keep you posted. We have one silkie who is the fluffiest thing with white puffy feathers and a Mohawk getting bigger by the day. But her feathers make up most of her body. They are so adorable when their chicks. We have two Banty chicks a lil bigger than a golf ball that like the chest up and square off with eachother like two big mean roosters, SO ADORABLE I COULD DIE!:D
