Hello, I am new to BYC and to raising chickens, we live in Las Vegas and have 2 Ameracaunas, 2 BO, 5 BR, and 1 BO Roo. They are all almost 6 months old, and I have raised them from 2 days old. I have read the forums here since I've had them, and it has helped in a lot of scenario's. 1 of my BR was the first to try and start laying, but she became egg bound, the forum helped out, and after following everyone's advice, she laid 2 soft shelled eggs, 1 was a double yolk. So I decided to join, and maybe share the things I've learned, or read since having my chickens. Thank you.
