New to Ducks...maybe Im crazy BUT....do you name them?

My 3 yr old son named his new Pekins: Daisy, Minnie and Pecan

I started by naming my chickens after explorers and so my recently acquired ducks have been named after maritime explorers.

Splash Swedish drake: Magellan...and his ladies:
Black Swedish duck: Tasman
Blue Swedish duck: Shackleton
Chocolate brown cross-bred duck: Torres
Chocolate brown cross-bred duck: Jansz

Black Swedish drake: Marco Polo...and his ladies:
Black Swedish duck: LaPerouse
Splash Swedish duck: Freycinet (pronounced Fray-sin-ay)


While I am at it here are the chook names:
Australorp: Burke
Australian Langshan: Wills
Wyandotte: Flinders
Wyandotte: Lewis&Clark

Ok, its Official we have names for all 4 of them.....

Cooper (pekin, think drake) very loud when picked up but huge legs and has new feathers coming in looking like a curl...?
Racer (mallard, think hen) feathers coming in...looking brown in color, do drakes show just brown feathers at 4-5wks old?
Arizona (Blue Swedish, possible Drake?) just think its a drake
Calli (Pekin, possible hen) ....very quite

So its official....wooo hooo!!!

Oh I forgot to mention, yes I name everything!!!

I have named my biggest Pekin " Aflac" , the next "Quackers" and the little one "Peep"

mine are now like 4-5wks old....I got them at 2-3days old....they now have there feathers coming in....they are closer to white than yellow....and bigger, almost the size of a football....
