I am also new here but I do have 4 lovely Black Rock chickens already, and this is the place to learn.

Be warned it is addictive....lol.

I'm pretty new here, too; I'm also planning my flock for spring 09. I've learned so much already here. Folks here are generous with their knowledge.

And it's true what they're telling you...it IS an addiction. I got hooked with a small broiler flock last spring. Your money will disappear. Your family will start questioning you. Your friends will look at you askance. You start spending time outside the home. Soon all you can think about is your next fix.....it's downhill from here, my friend.
