New to hatching...

Hi there. Thus is my first time hatching & all these threads are super helpful! I have 7 eggs in lockdown...well 4 have hatched. today is day 22 & I don’t see anything happening with the other 3. 2 chicks have been in the incubator almost 36 hours...2 almost 24 hours. They look dry, but I’m afraid I just can’t see pips on the other eggs. It sounds like I can remove them? Can I candle the other eggs or give it more time? The humidity has always read low, but I have 4 perfect little chicks so I’m guessing the gauge is off. Thanks for any help.

Go ahead and candle the other eggs to see what's going on with them.

Thanks so much. I did remove the live babies, who are thriving. I carefully moved the other eggs closer to the heat source. Humidity stayed stable. Temp dropped a little bit quickly came back up. I will candle them a little later, but I’m not overly hopeful. Not sure what I’ll see, but only one way to find out. thanks again!

These are my 4 out of 7 on day 22. The two yellow were born on day 20 & the 2 black were born on day 21. It’s so neat!!!!!

I did candle the eggs but really couldn’t see much. Much to my surprise, one egg has pipped tonight!!!! Neat!
