Be sure the waterer is such that the chicks can reach it, but not big enough that they can fall into it. Congrats on your first broody hatch. When I was about 12 years old, I had my first broody experience. I had a Bantam Roo, and 2 Bantam hens, and 3 or 4 large hens. He sure did not have any difficulty fertilizing the eggs from even "Big Bertha"!!! I would put crumble out for them now, if you can do so without disturbing the hen and her babies. Enjoy!
