Hello. Just a quick introduction before I launch in with all my questions!
Fairly new to chicken keeping having only had a small mixed adult flock several years back until we had to move house. We have this year hatched ourselves 5 chicks at home in an incubator and are excitedly watching the brood growing and changing on a daily basis.
We have a real mixed bag as the parentage is interesting and it's a constant quandry as to the sex and breed characteristics we've got here. They are now almost 7 weeks old.
We live in a rural village in the Cotswold Hills in England and will be raising our chickens as free range as life and plot allows. Hubby has just built a new henhouse and coop and we are fencing in a nice wild area of the garden for them to roam free in a lot of the time.
