Niacin, deworming, sick gander help!

I'm no fowl expert ... but in mammals ... black tar like poop indicates blood, usually before the large intestinal tract ... basically it has been "digested" ... red would indicate a problem closer to the "exit" ...

While an x-ray should show a piece of metal, the chances of only one x-ray finding it are slim ... say it is a nail, or screw ... and it was pointed at the x-ray machine, it would just show a small dot, which could be a stone ...

Without opening him up, it's not likely to get better, if that is the problem ... but if it was something like a bleeding ulcer, or diverticulitis it could be "treatable" if diagnosied ... and you have the money ...
