No Construction Pics, but here are my coops

After someone else commented in another post about liking my coops, I felt I should post them here...

Late summer last year, we inherited 1 roo and 6 hens. Now we have to build a coop. I did not know about chicken math, but I did build something I felt was bigger than we currently needed. So here it is...

If you notice, there is actually 2 of them. In Dec I decided that I wanted to raise golden Comet chicks, chicken math. When they out grew the brooder, I did not want to put them in with the adults yet, so we decided to build a second.

I have the adults in one, and 19 pullets in the other. They free range most days from dawn to dusk, so they really only sleep in here and they are doing well.
