SIR

I am actually in Anchortown. They are Bourbon Reds. Parents are from Porters as poults. I had the eggs shipped from Mass they are A.P.A and N.P.I.P. Perfect situation for someone looking to start breeding QUALITY heritage turkeys. I wish I was out of the city. I am up to 5 out of the eggs now and one more still scuttling around. I have Porters Sweetgrass due after the 9th.

I have used a few different ones..... They usually make it with one to three dead. And I can live with that. Then again, Homer is off the main track, mail wise, I am sure if you are in Anchorage or Fairbanks that you might get 100% live chicks.

Because of the cold, all of the Alaskan mail delivery system (at least in bigger towns) is climate controlled.
