Anyone know where any more local chicken festivals in the area are. I missed the Fair Oaks one.

Went to old Fair Oaks today to see the chickens. It is really cool to see them just walking around everywhere. All different breeds. There was A LOT of roosters, even a peacock. Next time I go I'll take a few pics and post em up.

Hello! I'm Cynthia from Sacramento. Finally can have chickens in the city as of November 1. I have 2 buff orpingtons and 2 barred plymouth rocks (one too many for city ordinance). Looking forward to learning more about chickens. This website has been a huge help so far.

I would like to rent an incubator for a small public charter school in The San Francisco Bay area or is there somewhere that does loaners for schools.
The future chicks have been provided and they will have a home after birth.
