I've been a member for a little bit, but never properly introduced myself .
I found this website through Google, when I had some issues with the flock.
20 hens and one rooster.
At the height we had almost thirty. However a neighbors dog decided to 'have fun' with the flock, and left few alive .
We've slowly been rebuilding the flock, but as always - life happens. More roosters than hens, illness, injuries .
Also have four sheep , two goats , three ranch cats.
I've found raising and caring for animals to be a steep learning curve ,sometimes . Pretty sure the animals meet in secret and decide to have multiple issues at once.
This website has been super helpful in pointing me in the right direction ,when it comes to things I didn't/don't know .
