I have 6 chickies that I purchased with the understand that all were female. I'm thinking otherwise on about half. Please offer your input.

One Production Red cockerel. The rest look like pullets.

She looks blue, not black. Definitely not a splash.

Sex links are a cross between 2 specific chickens that produce off spring you can sex by the feathers.

Oh wow!! That's really cool lol So how would I have ended up with a rooster then? We got 5 chicks from them and 2 were white (Leghorn we were told) and 3 orange (Orpington we were told) so if they were sex links shouldn't all of the hens have been the same color? Or is it not a sure thing 100% of the time? Sorry for the million questions, this is all new to me
