Awesome thanks!!Pullet.
No kidding about those silkies! Wow they are difficult to sex! Then throw some crazy feathers on top of it, and I am lost!!
This pic had the best view of the comb area, but a close up would be better.
The comb looks small & narrow, so still like a female's.
Try looking at how it stands. More rounded - female. If head is often held high and walks very upright = male. Darker feathers by wing shoulders can also mean male.
With silkies, a round crest=female, but if it gets longer strands that resemble hair flowing back = male.
At the moment I'm not seeing any male traits but they always look female..... until they're not. LOL
The Silver Laced are probably males, the single combed is most definitely. Gold Laced looks like a pullet for now.Not sure if these are roos or pullets? I'm new to this!! Can anyone help me out? They are GLW and SLW.View attachment 1075602 View attachment 1075603 View attachment 1075604
Yes. I'd guess female. There's no fool proof way until egg/crow, but it looks like a pullet to me.View attachment 1075553 View attachment 1075554 View attachment 1075556 View attachment 1075557 View attachment 1075556 View attachment 1075553 View attachment 1075553 View attachment 1075556 View attachment 1075553

Ok, here are a few I took today while hubby was enjoying their company!! Does the frizzle look round in stature to you? I think it may, or is it just me wanting it to be?
Frizzle is the smallest one, and usually the closest to the camera in case it isn't clear.

Here is a better pic of the ones face that I'm not sure about!Although I've never had Wyandottes, the 1st two have a lot of pink for such a young age. (especially #2) I think both are probably male.
The 3rd looks like a female for now.
