Just got back in town from being gone a week. My last Maran has feathered and I'm confused again.. I was so sure I had another roo. Any ideas?

100% male. Dark red coming in on the wings of a black bird is a give away.

Interesting. Everything looks feminine except the comb on the first one. I'll say both pullets but I'd be interested to see a follow up on these.

5 week old Anconas. The hatchery wrote their description as, "males have rose combs, females have upright comes." But at 3 weeks I already heard this one trilling! What do you think? boy or girl?

Which hatchery is that? I've never heard of sexlinking by comb type.

That is an Old English...mine is an identical match. And a rooster. So is mine.
