Odd egg colour

@angela0408, pictures of your birds will help, you may have an Easter Egger, which do tend to start laying abit later. Mine didn't start until close to 10 months old.
Everyone’s been laying since September.

Highly unlikely.

Best to check the shell color by removing the inner membranes immediately after breaking egg open. Tho the coating color can change and vary, AFAIK shell color cannot.

The very basics of egg color:
There are only white and blue shells.
Brown eggs have brown coating on white shells.
Green eggs have brown coating on blue shells.
Did thet this morning. The green egg looked maybe a bit blue, more green. The brown egg looked more brown than white though. Still a mystery. Guess Mother Nature always had some surprises up her sleeve.

The red girl in picture 3 resembles a Green Queen, but not 100% sure. That depends on where you sourced your birds.

It looks like the avatar pic. which has a pea comb and a beard.
She has a rose comb. But that doesn't necessarily rule her out, they're just another Easter Egger which can have any comb type.

If this bird is actually one anyways. Won't know for sure though.
