Odd places you have found eggs

My leghorns are just starting to lay and I have been finding eggs in strange places. Twice one of them has laid an egg in a portable kettle bbq. It is on my front porch. They also have laid under the porch. Post stories of crazy places you have found eggs!

i found my first egg underneath the outside roost. i wasnt surprised by it.

My dh found another leghorn egg. He has trouble keeping the chickens out of his shop because that is where the barn cats eat and the girls really love cat food. He went to get his new shop apron out of the box on his workbench and found the egg sitting in the box. It is like an easter egg hunt every day around here. All my other chickens lay in the nest boxes, but not these silly leghorns. LOL
