It’s a Russian breed, Russias most ancient breed actually, they don’t lay many eggs but are very very friendly and I think broody, so pretty much cold hardy only fluffy headed silkies

I have heard the roosters can be quite anti-social though

I hatched a little Pavlovskaya in July - She's quite skinny still. Her name's Ekaterina. She had a sibling, Anton, but he didn't make it.

I think she starved. Hard to tell, the feeder was refilled once since I left but they were clean out. So I’m not sure what happened, thankfully sunny isn’t depressed
