Wow, she's gorgeous! :love :love Is she deaf?
Nope. I think she is lacking one M chromosome being full albino. Her eyes refect off of "tapetum lucidum" causing her eyes to glow bright pink at night. Eerie.
I cant remember, I have some paperwork on her.
I worked at our veterinarian office.
I got Jolene and her **sibling** from a friend, of a friend, ...... etc...
They were from a group of ferals, inbreeding...
She has some genetic problems.
She has "bobble head" syndrome.
She is missing 3 vertebre.
She was born with ½ of her tail, thats where the 3 verts are missing. Its so weird.
Her xrays showed how her tail verts would be if her tail were full length.
Like, its only half a tail but the extension of the spine (verts) end like its a full tail..
If that makes sense.
But.... 3 are missing and she has a point of loose skin..
LoL.
The other kitten, her **sibling**
Was much smaller.
Many more genetic problems...
Our veterinarian wanted it for herself, so she got Joenes sibling..
First, it has NO tail and missing 2 verts. It has a dip where its tail should have started.
Second, it has a true diluted tortis shell coat, which is sort of rare.
Biggest, it is a TRUE hermorphidite.
It appeared to be female.
When time come to spay..
It had to be spayed and neutered.
I am SO glad I didnt pick that sibling!!!

Wow! Those cats have a lot of problems! I was asking because I've been told white cats with blue eyes are deaf, and I know of one that is just that. Jolene is beautiful and it sounds like her and her sibling is very unique! :love :love

Thanks for sharing all of that!

She can hear very well.
She is a fierce hunter of anything that she hears, wherever it is....
