Today I noticed one of my sweetest pullets (Lacy) was laying down in the coop, all day. When I first saw her laying down in the morning the other hens were to, but now their not. I let her out so I could watch her. She ran (without limping) when I set some food out but soon went to lay down again. The other hens won't lay down like that at all when out. I carefully examined her and her mouth was a little foamy and of course her crown was bloody from being bullied. I just lost a pet chicken a few weeks ago. I can't lose Lacy!!!
