We went into the coop tonight where we have 13 eggs being laid on. They are only 4 days from hatching... We couldn't find two of them so we looked and one was crushed on the floor of the coop and the other was MIA. We thought a coon might have gotten in, but our coop is very secure. We get inside and realized the other missing egg with the X on it is...IN THE FRIDGE! Crap! It would have just been put in last night, we took it right back out to the coop under mama - is there any chance for survival? Its so close to hatch day, I feel incredibly guilty.
