I'm guessing it's ok after reading how some people feed roadkill, but I purchased some beef liver originally to feed my dog, but she won't have it. Loves chicken livers, but not beef. So, instead of throwing them all away, I thought about feeding them to the chickens frozen as hot day treats. Just wondered if it would hurt them in any way...

I certainly wouldn't throw them away. I'm not sure about giving it to them frozen, but I feed my chickens various forms of beef (steak trimmings, poor-grade ground beef, etc.). By all means, give them a high-protein treat.

Just not too much at once. I don't know how many chickens you have, but I try to give only as much as will be snapped up in a couple minutes. With my ~40 chickens, that can be quite a bit!

Sure you can. And it's good for them.

It's excellent feed. But don't give them more than they can clean up in about ten minutes or so as it's very nutrient dense.
