I've been trying to figure out if our bantam rooster, Doc, is Old English or Japanese. His features seem to be right in the middle of the two. His legs are short, but not that short. His tail is high, but not that high. šŸ˜… I'm at a loss. My curiosity has increased since we hatched a chick from Doc and Cheyenne, the two in the first picture. The chick is about 2 weeks old in the picture.

Did you buy him as an adult? Trying to figure out if his comb is dubbed or if it is a pea comb.
We did buy him as an adult for a 4H poultry project. His comb was like that and I didn't know what dubbing was until the 4H project leader pointed it out to my daughter. I'm a little sad I won't know what his comb would have looked like. Lol
