I have quite a few game chickens, some are old and don't lay anymore. I can I tell the difference between the old non laying hens and the younger hens that are still laying?

they don't seem different but if they never go into the coop but at night chances are they are not laying

Usually older hens who have reached 'henopause' don't have the typical comb and wattle 'bloom' of a hen in full lay. Although some game hens don't have large combs and wattles of the typical laying breed, you can definitely see the difference.
