older chicks an younger chicks

OK so my 12 week old chick do not like my younger 6 week old chicks,older girls seem to peck at them,so i put them in a smaller cage,inside the coop,with food an water hoping they will get use to each other,any ideas on how to make sure they become friends,an cane live with each other soon,

The younger ones should be about old enough to fend for themselves. Try what you are doing for a week or two. They are going to have to work out their pecking order sooner or later.

I sure hope so cause I only have one chick coop.I have two turkey area's cause i have three Tom's. An two hens some gal I know didn't want her Tom's any more sold me both miget whites for 25.00 thought it was a good deal :/
