One hen plucking the other?

Some feathers around, but not a bunch. (an occasional feather here or there)
Food consists of:
Dumore Starter/Grower, Free range 9am-8pm (w/free access to open sand area)

Getting ready to switch the feeder to Purina Layena Plus (Omega-3). I got a free 40lb bag for filling out a servey through backyardchickens.com :D

Green legs imply Easter Eggers... I had a hunch.)

The grower is a good protein level, so unless you are giving lots of other feed/treats they should be good on protein....once you start the Layena, you might want to give some other sources of protein every few days or so.

If they are close to laying age, it might well be a juvenile molt/and or some feather eating. No blood, so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

Hey!
Thanks y'all.

Looks like she's just molting. Her feathers started growing back almost immediately. This will be her 3rd set since the down when I got them arround easter.
Her sister has joined in now. It looks a little like someone just set off a pillow bomb in my back yard (since she's all white).)

However, I still learned from everyone who replied, and I wanted to take the time to thank everyone for chiming in and teaching me.

I'll probably be back for the next "EMERGENCY". LOL :D

Thanks again!

Love, Todd
