Could one inch chicken netting keep a weasel out? And could it climb up it and go thru two inch mesh? Or not really

I believe it could. We don't have weasels here in NC but a skunk can get his head through, raccoons will try and bite through. We added a layer of protection to the outside of our pen with lightweight bird netting. Take a 100 ft roll and stretch it out. Bunch it up ever 4-5 feet with zip ties. Run this around the bottom of your pen, using landscape staples to keep it in place somewhat. This will tangle up and trap all kinds of varmints, especially snakes who get caught and can't back out. You can get it at lowes about $20 for the roll. Might tangle up a weasel pretty good. (we put two hot strands of electric fence around the outside of the whole pen to keep the chickens from wandering too close to the mesh if the are out free ranging) Good luck
