when do i integrate new chicks and mom into the flock?will the year old roosters hurt the week olds?i have 3 roosters all together,and 4 hens.when should i take mom and baby's out for a bit in the yard?

I give a broody hen about a week with her new chicks before putting them back with the flock, just so the little ones are faster and can follow mom better.

Yes the roosters could possibly hurt the chicks. I have seen protective roosters though. The mom will take her baby out in the yard when she wants.
