Overnight Rooster?

I wish I was a little more techno savvy so I could post some pics. Our girls are 17 weeks and when I walked outside yesterday I noticed that one of the Black Jersey Giants had a large red comb and wattle. The other one doesn't. I'm presuming that Carol Jean is now CJ... Now I'm looking suspiciously at the rest of the crew... The two light brahmas are definitely hens but the BRs and RIRs have me worried. Do hens of these breeds have prominent crests and wattles? Am I using the proper terminology? One of the RIRs is looking very red. Is that a sign of rooishness? Thanks all!

17 weeks? they arent roos! be expecting eggs though!

I've found that different pullets from the same hatch will mature at different speeds.
I have 2 barred rocks, 1 has a bright red comb and wattles and is laying, the other has a hint of a comb and is not laying yet. They are exactly the same age.
