One of my chickens are laying thin shelled eggs and soft shelled eggs, all of my other chickens are laying fine eggs. It might be a calcium deficiency so I got some oyster shells from my fishmonger. Im going to dry them and crush them and feed them to my chickens. Can chickens eat all parts of the shell? Or just certain bits lime the insides. There are limpets or whatever they are called clinging on the shells, is it still OK for them to eat?
