Hello,
I am new, so still soaking in all the info I can for our new chicks.
For dust baths I hear people use a little bit of everything....
Sand, Food Grade DE, Peat Moss, and even wood ash.

As far as wood ash, I read people use campfire ash and woodstove ash.
How about ash from a pellet stove? Is that basically the same?

I just wanted to ask, because I couldn't find anyone commenting specifically on pellet stove ash and I wanted to check.

Thanks!!

I see this is an old post. I just googled about pellet stove ashes and it brought me here ( my favorite place, going on second year with ladies). My stove is in need of emptying and just wanted to make sure they were a safe thing to use.
