Dheltzel, you gave me 3 dozen chicken eggs, and I think Aurora sent 5 also. I ended up with 27 chicks, so a good hatch, I think. I did have a couple that were not fertile. My broodies especially did well, considering they were okay musical nests many days.

The first pic are what I think are CCL Roos. Any guesses from anyone are welcome!

6 Turkey eggs made in into lockdown, and I have 3 chicks out. I did a quick candle, and it looks like the other two may have internally pipped. I know that's naughty, but I live in the edge... :smackHopefully there will be more tomorrow morning.

first basket looks like CCL cockerels, second basket looks like 4 CCL or welbar pullets but not sure what else. Basket 3 is 4 girls and 2 boys lol. Basket 4 ameraucanas? Can't wait to see the poults!

So.... some people chill with their peeps....and some peeps chill with their Pups! :lau

First pic has a legbar pullet in there, the second has a cockerel (white spot and indistinct stripes). The silver chick look like a Silver Ameraucana. The 3rd pic has 2 males, the rest look like legbar pullets, though the one on the far left could be a Welbar. The last pic looks like black Ameraucanas, but I can't remember what breeds you got from me.

Thank you both so much for your help. I didn't think I got any Legbars from you, but anything is possible. It was a few weeks ago, and many of the eggs were hiding under the broodies out of sight. I did get some Black As from you, and I think you or Aurora had some SVAs in there also. So it looks like I have at least 8 males. Not too bad.

Hey FluffyButt789 do you want the older or younger set? Its only a week or so different. I can check my dates for sure later. The younger set seem smaller then the older ones at the same age. Can't figure out how to tag.

I would like them to be as close in age to my other babies as possible. They are I believe between 3 and 4 months old. I prefer hens only, as we already have 3 roos and don't want to keep any of them. How much do you want for them? I think the best time for me to come is June 3rd (two days before hubby's birthday). :wee

I think one of my old Silkie girls may be on her way out. She was kind of standing off to the side this morning, not with the rest of the flock. When I went to check her out, she did not fight, and when I lifted her up, she leaked some clearish yellow goo out of her mouth. It's almost like she threw up, but it kind of oozed out and wasn't struggling. I wanted to separate her, but I was already very late for work. I tried to examine her to see if she had an external injuries. I did not see any, but she did feel a little thin, but she has always been tiny. I suspect she may pass today, given how old she is. If she is still alive when I get home, I will try to separate her and go from there.
